26 Weeks

• I tried to smile for this one so I wouldn't look so angry. Smiling to yourself while taking a picture is super awkward! 
• I finally got to see my midwife for the first time yesterday (Friday the 30th) after a pretty hectic experience of trying to transfer my records from Utah to an office here. It only took calling 3 different offices to decide on this one, then 3 weeks after that to get an appointment scheduled, then another week and a half after THAT to actually see the midwife! Ridiculous!! Anyway, things are settled down now and we can start getting excited about a baby coming, instead of stressing about who is going to deliver it.
• Levi and I went to a "Meet the Midwives" night at the hospital where I'm going to deliver. Since whoever is on call will be the one delivering the baby, it was nice to get to know all of them beforehand. They all seem like a great bunch of people. 
• When I'm lying down with a blanket around me, you can see the baby kick the blanket around. It cracks me up! 
• I watch a lot of Disney movies during the day while I work and I like to sing along with them. This week I discovered that the baby has a pretty keen ear for music. He'll be perfectly still while I'm singing, but if I hit a note wrong he kicks me. Hard. Then when I stop singing he stomps his feet until I start again. Maybe he'll be the next Jon Schmidt???
• Levi has been wonderful throughout this whole pregnancy. I love how involved he is! He likes to kiss my belly when he can and keeps his arm around me a lot all the time. I love it!
• No complaints about discomfort or anything. I feel great!
