- The due date is here! We’re still hanging around waiting for the little guy to make his grand entrance. I’ve been doing little projects around the house to pass the time and Levi has been able to study for the CPA exam at work (it wouldn’t be smart for him to be working on a project right now when he could be leaving at any time).
- I’ve made a few hats/photo props for our boy and I’m SO excited about them! I finished this one today:
- At church this past Sunday my hands started swelling up quite a bit. I think I was really warm or something. They stayed swollen, however, and didn’t go down at all until Tuesday night. My wedding ring was stuck on my finger until I went to bed last night and I’ve got a couple of perma-marks from it now. I think I’ll have to be going sans wedding ring until after the birth just to make sure it doesn’t happen again, but I feel pretty lucky to have made it this long!
We’ve been trying every induction method possible for a week and a half now. And yes, we’ve been doing THAT one. I think he’s just nice and comfy in there. Can you blame him? We have seen some good progress, though. Sunday night I lost my uterine seal, which means my cervix is opening up. Not much has happened since then, though, other than a lot of constant cramping and feeling nauseous. Induction is sort of frowned upon in the midwife office I go to (unless there's a medical reason) so I know I won't be induced, if needed, for another 2 weeks. I don't really want to be induced, but seeing as I was 13 days late when I was born, it's becoming more of a reality. We'll have to see!

Good Luck! I hope he comes soon! Mackson went past his date too. I finally got induced at a week over. I hope your baby decides to come on his own! I am soooo excited for you!
